Built differently

A meeting recorder that doesn’t become another attendee.

Bot recorders make their architecture your meeting’s problem. MeetingStow captures the conversation natively, from the Mac you are already using.

Typical meeting bots

An extra guest in every call

  • Joins as a visible participant
  • Waits for admission or host approval
  • Depends on calendar and meeting links
  • Treats each transcript as an isolated document
MeetingStow

Quietly native to your Mac

  • Never appears in the participant list
  • Detects supported meetings automatically
  • Works across Meet, Teams, and Slack
  • Builds memory around recurring people

More than transcription

Designed around the way meetings actually work.

Your meetings are not a pile of documents. They are an ongoing conversation with the same people, decisions, and context.

Automatic capture

It notices the meeting, so you can stay in it.

Automatic mode detects supported meeting apps, starts recording locally, and processes the transcript when the call ends.

People memory

Know who said what next time, too.

Confirm a speaker once and MeetingStow creates an encrypted local voice profile to recognize them conservatively in future meetings.

Local-first privacy

Your meeting memory stays yours.

Recordings and transcripts live on your Mac. Voice templates are encrypted, with their key protected by macOS Keychain.

Meeting-ready transcripts

Speakers, timestamps, and language controls. Not a wall of text.

MeetingStow groups consecutive phrases by speaker, lets you correct identities in place, and can retranscribe a meeting when its language changes.

How it works

From call to useful memory, automatically.

Set it up once. MeetingStow handles the repetitive parts after that.

  1. 01

    Open your meeting

Join Meet, Teams, or a Slack Huddle normally. There is no MeetingStow participant to invite or admit.

  2. 02

    Stay in the conversation

MeetingStow records system and microphone audio on separate tracks while you focus on the people in front of you.

  3. 03

    Remember what matters

When the meeting ends, MeetingStow transcribes it, separates speakers, and connects confirmed people to future conversations.

Continuity, built in

Your colleagues aren’t speaker numbers.

Most transcription tools forget everyone as soon as the call ends. MeetingStow lets you build a private directory of the people you meet with and carries that context forward.

  • Confirm once. Click a speaker and assign a person.
  • Recognize carefully. Conservative matching avoids confident-but-wrong labels.
  • Stay in control. Correct, remove, or re-enroll a voice profile locally.

Native by design

Fast, quiet, and at home on your Mac.

Questions, answered

The things you should know before your first meeting.

Does MeetingStow join the call as a participant?

No. MeetingStow captures supported meeting audio directly on your Mac. There is no bot account to invite, admit, rename, or explain.

Which meeting platforms work?

MeetingStow detects Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Slack Huddles. Manual mode can record another selected Mac window when needed.

Where are recordings and transcripts stored?

They stay in your local MeetingStow Recordings folder. Enrolled voice templates are stored separately in an encrypted local vault.

What Mac do I need?

The private beta targets Apple Silicon. Recording requires macOS 15 or newer; Apple’s on-device transcription requires macOS 26 or newer.

Can I correct a speaker?

Yes. Click a speaker pill in a transcript to assign an existing person or add someone new. Your correction applies to that voice throughout the meeting.
